The Vice Chancellor Message

It is with deep humility, a strong sense of responsibility, and renewed commitment that I assume the office of Vice Chancellor of the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah. I am honored to be entrusted with the leadership of this distinguished institution, which holds a unique place in the academic landscape of Pakistan by integrating the spiritual heritage of Sufism with the rigor and innovation of modern sciences.

The University of Sufism and Modern Sciences is founded upon the noble vision of harmonizing knowledge, ethics, and human values. Rooted in the teachings of great Sufi thinkers—especially the philosophy of peace, tolerance, love, and coexistence embodied by Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai—our university aspires to produce graduates who are not only intellectually capable but also morally conscious and socially responsive.

As a newly appointed Vice Chancellor, my foremost priority is to strengthen academic excellence, promote a culture of research and innovation, and ensure quality education aligned with international standards. We aim to enhance interdisciplinary learning, modernize curricula, support faculty development, and create an inclusive academic environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.

In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, universities must play a transformative role in addressing societal challenges. Our institution is committed to serving society through knowledge creation, community engagement, and the cultivation of leadership grounded in integrity, empathy, and responsibility.

I look forward to working collaboratively with faculty members, students, administrative staff, alumni, and all stakeholders to realize the university’s vision and to position the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences as a center of excellence at national and global levels.
